The Spyder cost $1542.00 :yikes:per year that's all coverage, perils and personal extended accident benefits.
$2 Mil. liability, $500.00 deductible.
For the USA folk :)
Brampton= One of the highest cost vehicle insurance area's in Canada partly due to excessive litigation.
M2-M Lic. = I wrote the first 2 test's...was watched driving and given a ok to drive, I drive for 16 months and take a final driving test to finish licence changing rating to a M-M
The -M means I can only dive a 3 wheel machine, not 2.
PS ,, have another company looking at the entire coverage... there is cheaper in Canada for Brampton I know.
No Spyder yet but here in BC I pay just under $1100 for my 25 year old GL1500 Wing. I've been riding for 45+ years no accidents.
I am with Travellers Canada Insurance and have all of my policies (home, travel trailer, 2 vehicles and business) with them and pay $243.00/year for all perils coverage, $1000 deductible.
I'm looking to make my first Spyder purchase but after my first insurance quote I got a little scared off...
I'm 31 years old living in Toronto (Etobicoke) with a clean driving record. I just got my M2 after completing a Spyder training course. My first quote from Intact Insurance was $4,400/year! I need to find a company that will cut that down to at least $2,500 before I buy my Spyder (Looking at 2016 F3-T).
Anyone in the Toronto area with suggested companies to contact?
Washington State, State Farm-I just renewed $305.[
QUOTE=Buttsy;514231]Hmm........renewal of a motorcycle in excess of 401cc (* three wheeled bikes) is almost $ 545.65 down from 2011 when it was almost $ 633.55? Quebec must have a provincial insurance plan? So $ 545.65 plus $ 238.00 yup gettin pretty close to what I pay in Ontario between insurance and my $ 42.00 license sticker.[/QUOTE]
