Spyder STS Y pipe
Hello all, new Spyder rider here.
I was able to get a left over 2013 STS SM5 for a great deal. I have been reading about the heat issues and decided to get a custom Y-pipe done. I took the beast to GT Custom exhaust on Brock road and had Matt ( an R6 rider ) fabricate a Y-pipe.
The result is great, less weight and heat, was done for $350.
It is getting cold out, but I am hoping to get a few more rides in before the snow falls : )

Did BRP already change the side panels to the 2014 style? If not, contact your dealer and it should happen for free. It helps with the heat issue.

Y pipe pic
Here it is. It seems to have cut down on engine braking and revs freely now. Also a bit more sound at the muffler.
