ever wonder how its gonna look fit well i can share my some of my work process as i went all the way and performed a swap to my 2009 GS sm5 dont get fooled by fenders its a 2009 gs, as i swapped them as well from 2016 spyder F3 :)

I had made a attempt once with the RT bars but my clutch reservoir wouldn't work with the RT bars with major mods or either but the RT clutch reservoir to make it work. I also have the a 08 SM5Quote:

thats a finished adapter welded and cleaned not powder coated yet
then i was lucky to cut the stock bars on the place without removing or disassembling any of the controls it was not that hard cut to length and drill a hole on a side closer to an end of the bar as the clamp that was securing the cutted stock bar to aluminum casting had a small bump sticking out to prevent the handle from twisting or pulling out, and the last pic whats left over from the stock bars
one more thing before i forgot this kind of swap allowed me to keep the antivibrate bars inside the stock handle bars that were only available for 2008-2012 models .
and to finalize the swap the actual cost of this project :
- 2013 can-am spyder st HYDRAULIC CLUTCH MASTER CYLINDER w/ LEVER $145 USD shipped ebay
- 2015 Can-Am Spyder RS SE5 OME Handlebar Steering and Upper steering column $157 USD shipped ebay
once arrived handlebar got one broken bolt and cracked centerl plastic cover around ignition and since it was from SE5 the left side bottom cover was different and the 4x bolts M10x40 was missing to bolt the handlebar to the steering column
so its another $50 for all small bits from dealer
not super expensive but not super cheap i just really wanted to look like up to date model so i got RSS "15 rims from my "14 phantoms and LED fenders installed and now steering bar as well painted all red parts in black will probably get new stickers for hood RSS and side covers powered by rotax

well i'm not too bad at welding but had only 180HD licoln so did the tackle welds and took it to welding shop they had a lincoln 600 Volt machine which did a good penetration weld to that thick metal turned out great, and plus i have a piece of mind that this will hold up and will not quit on meQuote:
