The Ultimate F3 Seat ----
Hey Spyderlovers!
We have officially started the development of an Ultimate Seat for the Spyder F3 --- we have an expected 'Ready to Sell' timeframe of Spring of 2017. Since we build these seats for you, we are looking for your input:

Couple Questions:
- Are you trying to change the stock seating position (i.e. distance from the bars) or are you happy with the position?
- Are you riding 2 up or solo?
- What DON'T you like about the stock seat?

Stock seat

I have the stock seat for my 2015 F3S. As with all my previous motorcycle, I wish the seats had more lumbar support. I tend to slouch and after long miles my back get sore. My solutions have been to fabricate a low pad attached to the back rest.
i am happy with the reach and distance to,the tank.

Any update on this development? I'll soon be the owner of an F3-T and I'm sure I'll miss my Ultimate seat!

Pan is complete, just working on foam.

2016 F3 Limited
Stock seat foam and passenger and drivers backrest to be able to remove.
OEM backrests are costly .like your foam comfort for pressure spots.

I had the Ultimate on the Gs and Still on my RT- Love it!
My F3 doesn't appear to need a different seat- I sit down IN it and Do Not move the whole ride. My back feels Fine. :dontknow:

It would be nice if there was an option for us tall riders to have more driver room, i.e. move the position back. I rarely will ride two up so a loss of some passenger room isn't a large issue.

I received an e-mail last Friday from Des at Ultimate Seats. The earliest the Ultimate F3 seat will be available is August.

I agree on issues fpr tall riders. At 6'5" the OEM makes me feel pitched forward and jammed against tank, bars and boards even at #5 position.

Due to supplier delays, and it being rally season - we are looking at early to mid November for the new F3 seat. We apologize for the delay, but can assure you it's in process.

I just got a Drivers backrest from Lamonster and have a F3 Limited. Can I order the one piece seat you sell for the T and still use the backrest I have. I believe Ultimate seats makes them for Lamonster, but they have a special bracket. How would that work?

You can use most of the backrest assembly. You would need to call to order, and we would just send the seat with a different lower post (+$45) that would allow your current driver backrest to be used with the Ultimate Seat.
