So I recently purchased a 2017 F3S. I wanted a tank bag that was easy to remove. My preference was a magnetic bag. However as most of you are aware, not a metal tank. My solution was to purchase some neodymium magnets on Amazon and place then on the tank where my bag sits. It was a huge success. I was able to buy the bag I wanted and mount it right where I wanted. When I remove the bag, I dont have sraps and buckles still attached to the bike. Very clean looking install.

No. These are very strong magnets.
This is an awesome bag from Nelson Rigg using strong suction cups.
