May be an easy fix. I had same message and several here advised check brake fluid, which I did. Added some and all is well. At least try that 1st.
don't see your model in your profile but as stated the most common is tge brake fluid. It may look fine to you but the nanny likes it tippy top full. Depending on the year and mileage this may be a sign your brakes are getting low or sensors are off...check carefully...:thumbup:
It was dirty sensors. Cleaned it and now it seems ok!
Same here. Mine doesn't always happen, but very often. Brake Failure message appears before stops, not while the bike rolling at > 20 mph. I'll check the sensors to see if it helps.
And since you mentioned brake sensors, did you mean the fluid pressure sensors, which is in the brake fluid tank? If not, where are they?
