Praise Report for Kathy 7/31 - Kathy has been on what they call C pap mode on the respirator since early this morning. What that means is that she has been breathing on her own for 7 hours. The machine is set to step in if she gets tired. So far she has not. I have started her on isometric resistance exercises in her arms and legs. As she gets better this will help her core to tone faster and hopefully less time in rehab. Her kidneys are still producing a low volume of urine, but that also is a good sign. Any is better than none. Kidney MD was in and said WHEN, not if her kidneys start fully working again. I told her I would take that on faith. We need to continue to pray for complete healing.
In my thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery!
Will continue to pray for healing and comfort for Kathy, Doc and all of their family.

Thoughts and prayers g out from Michigan. Hope God's intervention in this, is a full and quick recovery.
Praise Report for August 1 on Kathy - I was unable to ryde down today due to paying bills and waiting on a courier with a settlement on the byke. Tiffany, Kathy's daughter was with her most of the day. She reported that the kidney MD still has great hopes in her kidneys making a full recovery. Output is about the same as yesterday. They have alternated her back and forth today with her breathing on her own and back on the machine. She was in very good spirits, smiling alot and even laughing (as much as you can with a trac). We need to focus our prayers on her lungs and her kidneys. We have total faith that she will be completely healed.
Hugs and prayers for Kathy's continued healing.

One day at a time and improve some each day.
Praise Report for Kathy - 8/2 - I have been here with her for a couple of hours. She is struggling with her breathing today. She tolerated breathing on her own for a shorter time yesterday than the day before. Today, she is so tired that they are not planning on trying it. She still is having lung and kidney issues. Wondering if it may be scar tissue from the pneumonia. They did a complete torso xray earlier and that should give a better picture. She is restless and is a little confused today. Her nurse is saying it is due to sleep deprivation and the length of time she has been in ICU. He is asking to limit visitors so that she can rest. If you come down please make your visits short, if possible. The are running the dialysis for 12 hours in scupper mode, which will remove fluid. This should help with her breathing also. Kathy is very uncomfortable and has ask to go home several times already. Today is a rinse and repeat of the last several days. We continue to ask for your prayers for healing of her lungs and kidneys, as well as her overall health. Regardless of what man says, God will always have the last word.
Still sending   's from Down Under! Our 'get healthy' thoughts for Kathy & best wishes for you are tagging along as well. Stay strong for her.

Steve,
God's timing always perplexes we mere mortals, but God has a reason and we're still praying that reason and Kathy's healing will be fulfilled. We (as Mark4Jesus reminded us) have a Confident Expectation that Kathy WILL fully recover. Each new day is the time for renewed and fervent Prayer for Kathy and Steve, for their family, and for all that come into Kathy's hospital room.
Lord, hear our prayers. We lift them up to you, that Your will be done.
...Praying that she gets the rest that she needs to heal...:pray:
Update on Kathy for 8/3. She is better today. Her lung infection is gone. She will need to build up strength and capacity in her lungs which will take time. The xray still shows white spots, which are scar tissue from rhe pneumonia and will eventually heal. Urine output is still very, very low, but her kidney MD still believes that they can get restated and I told her I would believe in that also. She seems to be resting better today and I limiting her excitement to keep her heart beat down. We need to continue to pray and believe in her complete healing, especially her kidneys and lungs.
It's great to hear something positive for Her :clap::clap::clap::clap:.still :pray::pray::pray::pray::pray::pray:........ ..Mike
