Has anyone found a way to remove the start delay using the ECO button?

Yes, I am going to resurrect this post. It is clear that several misread or misunderstood my initial inquiry about the having to hit the "Eco/Mode" ket prior to hitting the Start button.

If we are being technical here, there is actually one additional thing one has to do prior in the Start Up sequence: :yes:

Turn Key, Place foot on Brake, Remove Parking Brake, Press Eco/Mode, and then push the Start button.

***I'm not sure why the Eco/Mode button has to be pushed in the sequence, but I don't think we will change it on our current models. :opps:

If you put the bike into neutral before shutting it off you do not need to put foot on brake. If the parking brake is on you have to release it only before you start moving. Putting foot on brake and releasing the parking brake are not required to start the bike if you shut it off in neutral. My routine is almost always turn key, put helmet on, get on bike, hit mode, start. The mode button adds maybe two seconds to the start process. Then I put my foot on the brake, put it in gear, release the parking brake, and go. These latter steps are the same for any car or pickup.

Or you could do what us manual riders do. Turn Key, Hit Eco/Mode, Pull Clutch, Start. We have one less step!!

The amount of time you are spending trying to figure out how to do away with the eco button is more time spent then actually pressing the button.

Press the friggin button = 1 second.
Time wasted trying to away with the button = days.

Seconds in a day? Do the MATH! :yikes:

We get that pressing the button is a Must. It certainly doesn't stop me from hitting the road on my F3S. Love it!!! Enjoy your weekend everyone!!!

Slow down, you are in to much of a rush. This takes a few seconds at best. This gives the computer time for a quick check and fuel pump to reach pressure. Don't understand why 3-5 seconds is so important unless you just robbed a Bank.

At least they got rid of the CRANK start!

didn't like at first but the first thing i do is turn on the key grab my helmet and gloves get geared up climb on and hit start ready to roll. Don't even think about it anymore.

I have found a way to eliminate reading the safety card ,REMOVE THE STICKER with the stupid instructions, if you need to read them you shouldn't even be riding a push bike.
I Removed my sticker and took great pleasure as it hit the trash can, then I relabelled the pull out thingy "SUN SHIELD" and that's what I use it for, to keep the sun off the display when parked, now that makes sense.:yes::yes::yes::yes::yes:

Removing the eco button would be nice but removing the engine vibration would be nicer. My thoughts
