:lecturef_smilie: That wasn't funny...

Lets see.......Danica in a fire-suit, any other driver in a fire-suit...........Danica gets my vote.
No doubt; she's real easy on the eyes!
But it ain't a beauty contest; she's GOT to learn how to race! ;)
She's got talent, but still lacks the experience...
Ok folks.......I'm a Tony Stewart fan from way back. My first vote will always be Tony first, Newman second............then I suppose I gotta vote Danika third. Its all Stewart Haas!
Smoke is fast... But I always feel as if he's got a major temper-tantrum brewing! (:gaah::cus::gaah::cus::gaah::cus::gaah:)
You know; one of THOSE!
I have been following Ryan Newman since before Roger Penske put him in his first full-time ride. I put Tony behind Ryan, but not because of my loyalty. When Tony comes up to NY for Zippy's Charity ride, he makes the day fun. However, my mom (on her Mach Z) did beat him across the lakes:ohyea:the first year they went up for the charity ride. Both are stand up guys, as I have met them both. Danica is in a good place where she will get to learn from two of the better wheel-men in racing today. Hopefully The 500 will end w/Tony's first 500 victory, or Ryan's second (gotta admit I am hoping for the later).
I've always liked, "Flyin' Ryan", but he just never seems to have lived up to his potential...
Never was a fan of Stewart. Was a little cry baby when things didnt go his way. In the past few yrs, he's matured
and has grown on me...but not enough to see him win.
Another Driver I cant stand is Kyle Bush...He's the biggest baby out there...what a whiner. Its a shame because he is a good driver.
Not as many casualties in the first duel as I thought there would be....
Did Jr. blow an engine today??
Horrific crash at the Nationwide checkered flag.....several fans involved. Sure hope everyone comes thru ok.
A friend of mine knows several of the NASCAR safety crew. He spoke to one of them and was told 3 fans were killed, and 12 others were injured.
I hope he's wrong...
That is definitely sad..................... :( Hope everone is ok.....
In other news Danica pulled yet another typical Danica move........
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Danica Patrick is out of the Nationwide race at Daytona International Speedway, and it might be because of her own mistake thinking she had a blown engine Saturday.
Patrick had yet to blow an engine in her NASCAR career, but when her car shut off in Turn 3, she figured "that's exactly what happened."
So she pulled the car into the garage instead of letting her crew diagnose the problem on pit road.
After all, a blown engine isn't fixable.
But shortly after Patrick did an interview with ESPN, her crew fired up the car, shut it off and fired it up again.
The engine, it seemed, was running just fine.
A look of horror came over Patrick's face. Stunned, she walked alone to the corner of the garage and put her hands on her temples, back facing the car.
Was the problem fixable after all? Could she simply have fixed the issue on pit road or switched to the backup ignition?
Suddenly, she seemed to be on the verge of tears. She bent over, hands on her knees and stared at the ground.
Oh Danica your so predictable !!!!!! :roflblack:
Speed TV reporting 14 fans transported off Daytona Speedway property. 11 to Halifax trauma center. Two are critical but stable. No fatalities.
Did anyone see the video a fan shot. He/she was only a few seats from where the tire landed:yikes:. The vid shows a guy taking his shirt off trying to help as other fans franticly yelled to officials to get there attention.
Thoughts and prayers to the fans and thier families..
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the injured...
But now we've got another race for today...
Yep....looking forward to it. Hope the weather holds out.
OK...What lap does Dannaca get caught up in a wreck? Her fault or not?....
I hope she does well, but I'll say it will be around lap 50, and gets caught up in wreck.
why is a race allowed to end during a caution, rather than stopping, cleaning up the mess, then resuming play ? i don't get that.:dontknow:
Saw that....it was very graphic.
Race ends under caution only after the white has been waved (indicating the final lap) if there's a caution before that they will continue for the scheduled distance or make up to 3 attempts at a green, white, checkered.
DANNY! :D
You've been missing for too long!
:ohyea::yes: Glad that you've crawled out from under all of those Vee-four engines to check in! :2thumbs:
Drivers and "Danica" ??? Start your engines??? Is that customary because she is the poll OR was it a sexist Statement??
No .................. it's because their are the real drivers and then there is Danica which isn't is real driver !!!!! :roflblack:
:roflblack::roflblack:

I thought that was best Grand Marshall intro ever !!!!!!! :firstplace::firstplace: We already have had 20 minutes of Danica air time and the race hasn't even started......... :banghead:
Well the race started out about how I figured that it would; Jeff side-drafted off of the 10 and took the lead...
But he's got debris on his grille...:gaah:
