To go faster at red line he will have to change the gearing. Easiest way to do that is go bigger counter shaft sprocket. I don't see it as much of an advantage with the stock setup as the engine already has trouble getting to red line in 5th.
But with the Turbo, taller gearing should be no problem.
I'm wondering if the Turob might even give him an advantage in the twisties! Love to test that theory!
Should be interesting....
OH MY.... that sure is a skinny bunch..must graze alot or eat popcorn.:roflblack: :roflblack: :roflblack:
OK correct me if I am wrong but----The stock drive gear is a 40 tooth gear, (Or I think it is),, so having said that would he need a LARGER gear with more teeth or a smaller one with less teeth?? I think I understand the concept just not really clear to me... Yah I'm sure you can tell I'm a bit confussed on the whole Revolutions to Ratio concept.. Just asking is all..
PS: After a bit of research I think I'm WAY off on the number of teeth on the original front sprocket...

So, I walk into the shop and the first thing I hear is..." You need to come back here and see this".
I was pretty sure what to expect, but seeing the setup in person really shows some nice craftsmanship. A nice, clean package and it sounds good too...:2thumbs::2thumbs:
