Billy,
Sorry for the hijack, but is that a Podium trailer that you're pulling?

Thanks!
I've been waiting for them to become available down here...
Bought online from Costco Canada. Delivered to my door direct from the manufacturer. It took about an hour to put together and the instructions were easy to follow.
You may consider importing one yourself. A nice drive to Quebec would fun. Because it is a vehicle there will be some extra hassle and expense crossing the border. Check into that first. But because the US$ increased so much it would be cheap for you. The Costco price for the 18 cu. ft. model that I have is $1,739.99 CAD that would be about $1,250 USD.
it seems as if they're getting the parts pretty quickly. We're taking both ours in on Saturday.
mine will be installed Sat 1/30.
I've been out of town for a few weeks, and I just got back so I just checked my F3 and it's part of the recall, but the interesting thing was, I called the selling dealer and they haven't heard anything of a recall, after a little coaching the service manager finally found it and has ordered the parts.
If you're waiting on a call from the dealer or a letter from BRP don't hold your breath. Get on the phone and call your dealer. This should be listed as a safety recall, but I guess that since no one has been hurt it won't.:doorag:
Maybe some of you are struggling with your dealers because this isn't a "recall"?....Its a warranty bulletin/campaign. Yes, there is a difference.

Got mine done today
Does this affect the 2016's?
Mine done.
:banghead::banghead::banghead: ..........Ya know, it only takes a couple post anymore, after somebody takes the time to explain that a warranty/bulletin campaign is issued for a problem, and some people that don't pay attention, start calling it a recall again. :banghead::banghead::banghead:
no wonder a lot of members get tired of this kind of posting........come on people.....pay attention !!!
Rant's over :banghead:
Called my dealer also to see if my F3 was on the list. He told me yes I had 2 recalls/warranty items.
1. Chassis reinforcement - which I knew about
2. Brake line replacement/relocation - I did not know about this one. maybe its in the forum so I might have missed it. apparently the brake line is to close to the exhaust which is causing the brake line to rupture.
P3 and P4 aren't even shown their proper installation location even though there is Holes in this bracket for the P3 and P4 nut and bolt to be put. They aren't even mentioned other than the item list. Hmmm, wonder why only 1 P3 and P4 were used on my F3s. Just another thing in the list of concerns wrong in my purchase of bike
I bought 2015 last month. They told me about the safety bulletin and had ordered the parts. It only took about half an hour. Still doesn't provide any comfort with bumps though.
It was just wishful thinking that it would help cushion the blow from bumps.:roflblack:
they are a second recall all F3 model (muffler bracket) ...check with your dealer
I HAD MY F3 IN LAST MONTH FOR THE INSTALL OF THE BRACE. NOTHING BUT A PIECE OF ANGLE METAL PUT IN UNDER THE DRIVER SEAT. THE BRACE HAS 4 HOLES IN IT, THE F3 ONLY HAS 2 IN THE FRAME ALREADY. THEY HAVE TO DRILL 2 MORE HOLES. NOTHING TO IT. I STILL THINK THAT THE PROBLEM IS CAUSED BY THE REAR SHOCK BOTTOMING OUT. FROM ALL OF MY RACING DAYS CARS ,BIKES, WHEN YOU HAVE TWO PIECES OF METAL JAMMED TOGETHER ENOUGH TIMES SOMETHING IS GOING TO BREAK. I INSTALL THE NEW SHOCK ALSO MYSELF. YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH BETTER IT MADE MY F3 HANDLE. I BELIEVE I COULD HAVE DONE WITHOUT THE BAJA RON BAR INSTALLED . THATS MY 2 CENTS
