You don't need to remove the vents to take off the Tupperware. There is a long bolt/screw at the front of the vent that screws into one of the wind wing holes that was taken off to do the install.

You can get these vents on Amazon for $81.99. Search for this. Can-Am Spyder Rt Vent Kit 219800388 New Oem. I installed them on my 2015 RT and didn't cut the hole out but let them feed the existing grill vent. They work great and dropped my normal temp gauge reading by about half a mark.
Add the vents to my 14rts today didn't cut anything. Just removed inside heat panels and vents. I do have Doc's instructions. Don't forget to add heat foam to inside panels.
I have a 2018 RT and did not cut out anything. What a difference but miss it on cold mornings.
I can't seem to send you a PM, but would love the instructions for installing this vent kit. Please let me know how I can get you what you need to do so.
PM me your email and Ill send you what I used.

I was wondering about adding the heat vent kit on my '17 RTL to help cool off the heat I feel coming thru the body on my legs. I see some people have added them an liked what they did. I would like to see some pictures of what they look like once they are installed on your spyders. All I can find is the kit parts an not a picture of them installed. If anyone has couple pictures that they can share I would really appreciate it.Thank you.

has pictures...
Here are some pictures of mine installed. I left the factory vent opening in the panels and didn't cut them out to start. That way if I didn't like them I would only have 4 small holes to fill and use touch-up paint on. Now that I've had them for about 10 months I really like them and I'm going to go back and cut out the opening to allow more air in. The current setup has dropped my temp but now I want to see if I can drop it more.
Thank you all for the pictures of the vents added to your Spyder. All so thanks for links to other threads about the vents added an how you added wings for more air to rider. Thank you, Nathan in Yakima WA
Did it make a big difference when you cut out the opening?
i haven't cut out the opening yet. I will post something once I do it.
I am also looking for the RT Vent installation instructions. Would it be possible to send me a copy also?
Thanks,
Mike
Update: Eckhard sent them to me today. Thanks for the help.
Mike
I finally cut the opening the rest of the way out. The engine still runs cooler than it did. We have 92+ degree heat right now so I think you hit a point where you can't see a major change when it is this hot. I like the look and know it is helping the bike run cooler. It also didn't cost an arm and a leg.
Finally got my heat vent kit for my RT. $72 from my dealer. As everyone else I need instructions to install them. Anyone with the instructions that would care to send them to me, PM me for my email address to send them to. Thank you. Nathan in Yakima WA
