Some initial thoughts.
1. I've been riding F3's for 4 years now. I didn't necessarily feel "higher up" but the handle bars felt lower.
2. No shake in sideview mirrors.
3. Bluetoothing my phone on the F3 required the radio to be at about 80% to easily hear it. On the RT at 65 mph I had the radio at 25% and easy to hear.
4. I'm 5'-11" with 32 inch inseam. With windshield at max height my eyes were about 1-2 inches below the top. No distortion. The vents let a whole lot of cold air thru. Wind was hitting my hairline. The shield tapers pretty quick and let air around the sides. Not a lot of wind noise.
5. I was able to completely stretch out my legs to the equivalent highway peg position. If you're familiar with the F3 UFit system I'd say they span position 4. Taller than 6 feet then you're going to have to bend the legs a little.
6. I didn't do any "twisties" but went through some nice curves. I didn't feel top heavy. I'd equate it to be at least as good as my F3 with it's stock sway bar.
7. Heated seats and grips have 2 positions - high/low. This includes the same for the passenger.
8. The seat has a relatively high back. I found i could lean back against it. Might not need a backrest.
9. About 3300 rpms in 6th at 65 mph.
10. LED lighting was excellent.
11. Not sure about previous years but the saddlebags have a dampening piston when opening.
12. As far as the color Fuel (blue) it looks dark in the shade but lightens up in the full sun due to the amount of metallic.
Stebrock, your windshield, believe the are two sizes, tall and not tall, was yours the tall OEM? Thanks for the bullet report, good info.

This is a heads up to those that have picked/ordered their Petrol colored RT Limiteds.
I found a paint defect on the left side of the top case. It was a circular pattern of paint droplets that trailed over the top in a row. Not easy to see depending on light and viewing angle.
My dealer picked it up with the intention of swapping it with another one they had. It turns out the 2nd one had the same type of defect only worse than mine. They submitted a claim with BRP.
So look real close at the left side of your top case lid. These could be the only two but who knows.
Update: I've been told that this a defect that BRP is already aware of.
I wanted to add this to my initial opinion post.
As far as ride comfort the RT was noticeably smoother than my F3 Limited when going over railroad tracks and rough roads.
Thanks for the feedback, Stebrock. A purchase, when they finally arrive out here in Oz, is looking more and more likely.
Just using your best guess, do you think there would be room for highway pegs forward and to the side of the boards (I have a 38” inleg), or would the front guards get in the way?

Looking Good! But I'm biased. I just got word my 2020 RTL Blue/Chrome in on the truck headed to Spokane, Wa. Dealer thinks next week sometime.

I haven't bought one YET, but I just sat on one at a dealer out of my local area. No test ride.
The floorboards are MASSIVE and offer a ton of leg mobility. However, given your inseam length I would opine that you could affix some type of highway peg arrangement to the front/side of the floorboards. The floorboards are extraordinarily thick and beefy. The brake pedal is much bigger than the previous editions, either F3 or RT, but I don't think that would get in the way.

Don at F4 Customs gave me a 2019 RT to see if it would fit my 2020. It does. Exact same height but wider at the top. The OEM windshield's vents let in a lot of air. Too much when it's cold. Don's has the adjustable vent. Highly worth it. I laid the BRP windshield on top of the F4. If you look close you can see the difference.
The F4 pushes the wind wider to the sides. I'm 5'-11" and the wind coming over the top touches the top of my head.
Hi all. Need some insight from you all that have recently purchased a new 2020 RT. I have got an itch and I may need to scratch it. How much do you all think I can get for 2017 F3 S Daytona with about 3500 in add-ons, it has 3000 miles on the clock?
Texas Al, it would be worthwhile starting a new thread with a new heading of “F3 Trade Value”, or similar.. There are plenty of F3 riders out there who have a good idea on trade prices, but they will probably skip over this thread as its heading is for a 2020 RT .....

Texas Al, further to AR's post above - when it comes to choosing your thread title, remember that it is the ONLY way you have to invite potential readers to come on in & read your thread, so please, try to briefly ask your question in there, or at least tell those potential readers what you want from the thread.
Your 'post title' above, the '2020 RT Itch' that you entered in the title field for post #43, is fine for an individual post (altho you should note that some readers never get to see those individual 'post titles' buried in a thread, so you really shouldn't put anything important in there when you're entering a post reply ;) ) but if that was used as a thread title, it clearly wouldn't tell any potential readers what you're after from the thread, so there will be at least some if not many potential readers who simply won't bother to open the thread & read any or all of the posts it contains.... :gaah:
So if you want to know what your F3 is worth, entering a thread title that's something more like:
"What is my 2017 F3 S Daytona worth? Trade in or Private sale?"
is probably going to get you a heap more readers actually opening the thread & reading on, and that means you stand a waaay better chance of getting some helpful replies! :ohyea: Make Sense?! :dontknow:
Now, let's get back to the subject of this particular thread - Stebrock's New 2020 Ltd! :thumbup:
