As an owner of a "low" mileage(12,000) 2015 RT Limited, there hasn't been any significant enough changes that have been made to make me want to buy a new one. I actually think the first version of the digital dash and app integration was not very well thought out, especially for the 50% of us that use the Android OS. I feel the screen is too small, and I'm sure there are visibility issues depending on the sun angle/position, and what sun glasses/helmet visor you are wearing. I hope that BRP will address the multitude of misses with system in 2019.
I know that BRP touts the F3 Limited as a touring platform. In it's current form it's nowhere near equal to the RT for 2-up riding:
1. I like the flexible foot positioning; but I don't like the "slouched" rider position.
2. The passenger seat needs attention to make it more comfortable/supportive
3. The flimsy top case lid needs reworked so it will close correctly 100% of the time. I don't think it should require the purchase/installation of a luggage rack to stiffen the lid to make it work correctly.
Fixing these product shortcomings should give BRP plenty of work for the 2019 models.
I'll get off my soap box now.

From the patent drawings in the other thread I have concluded that it will be a shock seat that moves about 1/2 to 3/4 inches on minor bumps because they used that on the 98 XP Limited Jet Ski (Known for the Shock Seat) . From these pictures I have also concluded the feet will be in a forward position and since there will be NO clutch only the brake bar will have different sizes . I predict rave Fun Factor reviews by the testers But it won't appeal to those who Go Long distance touring?
The "Little Birdie" in my head told me so-:yikes:
tick...tick...tick...
Just spoke with my Dealer today, and he tells me that the unveiling of the new lineup will be in Colorado this year. He is flying there on Sunday. Apparently they do the unveiling each year at a different location, and from the way he was talking ...... next year, they will be in Cabo San Lucas, MX.
This is what I was told anyway.
As I recall: The F-3 Turbo was reported to unleash about 145 horses....
It sounds as if the Triple was sent to "finishing School"! :2thumbs:
Or is It the lack of any emissions tuning?
Was it a used model that had the 1330 retro-fitted to it? There is a 1000cc restriction for all manufacturers on ATVs and UTVs. That is the whole reason they started turbo charging them for more power vs just dropping a bigger displacement motor in them. Almost every manufacturer already makes v-twin, triple, in-line 4 or V4 motor’s with higher displacement. Why would they go thru the trouble and expense of developing and getting approval on a turbo charged 1000cc when they could just use one of their existing motors with very little investment.
That sketch on the first page makes it look like it may be a shaft drive.
