The F3 rear wheel is a one piece wheel with no replaceable hub like on all other Spyders. Not sure if they mate the same or not, they look like they do.
As far as changing out the sprocket to your ST I'm told by the head BRP tech that this will not work, it would throw a code because the calibration for the VSS would be off.
I guess that it'd be nice to know exactly what systems are being monitored...
If running more rpm than the speedometer thinks is normal; the VSS must also be checking what gear you're in, and comparing the rpm levels to those known readings. :shocked:
Or... is the BRP tech just trying to discourage some "creative thinking"?
I see no reason that the sprocket and belt from the F3 NA will not physically fit on a 2014/15 RT. Since the F3 international version uses the same belt and sprocket as the 2014/15 RT. In fact some of 2015 RTs have the same 6 spoke rim as the F3.Quote:

I had not noticed that the new 6 spoke rim, standard equipment on some of the 2015 F3, RT and ST, did not have a replaceable hub. But since the new rim fits across 3 different models lines I think that proves the 2 sprockets are interchangeable.Quote:

The 1330 engine has the same front sprocket as the 998 engine. So no need to change front sprocket. In fact there is no other front sprocket to go to unless you have something custom made.Quote:

Just my thoughts...I would think there is a tone wheel somewhere that is counting pulses per wheel speed...When this 89 tooth sprocket change was made to the RT the ECM is seeing to many pulses per revolution of the rear sprocket??? If there was a way to have that tone wheel send the same count after the sprocket change the ECM wouldn't know the difference???
