Last year at Spyderquest we talked to the BRP rep for the area and he told us that RT's account for 70% of Spyder sales. With numbers like that you see why the RS-ST lines don't get much respect. St's account for probably not even half of other 30%.

:D :D
Here are the sales numbers for 2013
RT''s 5100
ST's 3100
RS's 1500
The ST owners deserve a little bit of Farkle...LOL
Thanks for replies. I knew this topic would take a comical turn.
I should have mentioned that was really referring to the aftermarket accessories. I checked out BRP's catalog and jeez seem to me over priced but might have to suck it up eventually.
I really wanted the RT but some of us don't have deep pockets. I settled for the ST but I still love it.
Thanks Jeffsm69 for the stats. Yes ST deserve more Farkle whatever that means... guessing a profane kind of sparkle.
I have a ST...I pulled my rear rack...off my rs and it bolted onto the ST......so any rs accessory will fit the ST...as far as tank bag goes...won't fit.....the brake, fog lights, heated grips button would be covered......I believe the more youthful spyder ryders are on a ST......
I got extra storage farkle from Corbin.
60 years young, going on 49...
Enjoying the RS-S immensely.

I am trying to decide RSS or ST? Don't plan on more than city riding

I know it removes about 30 years off my age when I get on it and ryde!!:D
Just wish I could find a tinted, 9 or 10 inch screen for my 14 STs!!
If it's just local riding I'd say probably just get the RSS... but I promise you once get one you'll want to to go for long rides. I've never ridden anything other than an ST so don't really know what the other's are like. I believe the ST is probably around 5-10 grand more than the RSS.
