I was gonna order bearings, seal and oring for rear wheel just in case before I take rear wheel off but bearings are no longer available from BRP...
Yes other online parts vendors still have some left but I guess this is the beginning of the end.

They should have to supply those parts for 10 years minimum
Just looked, all parts are currently available and in stock at BRP...
If you need us to order them for you please let us know.
This is how RUMORS get started!! 6205-2rs & 6006-2rs are standard industry bearings and will be around for a very long time, and much better quality. O'rings and seals will be easy too!
Google the part numbers.

Looks like we have everything in stock and can ship out today. If I'm not mistaken one of the bearings you need qty 2?
If you are looking for just qty 1 of the 4 parts then you should be looking at $39.76 shipped.
If you'd like call David Levitt @ Sierra Cycles (520)459-2589 if he can help further.
Rumors? I have better things to do than that.
Chaparral is an authorized can am dealer that sells a lot of oem parts and they said it was discontinued.
As I said, those parts are still available(BRP is just not making them anymore apparently), and I did order them from procalibers along with right switch housing.
Just because BRP changed part numbers does not make replacement parts unavailable. Since the basic rear wheel assembly on a 2019 F3 models and RT models are the same. Your implying that parts are no longer available for them too. BS. Just need to find the new number.
Ok. Call it whatever you want.
Check if maybe a new part # superspeeded the old one, I would surprised if they stopped making parts especially common ones considering i can still get parts for seadoos made in the early 90's.
You live in a huge city that has several bearing supply stores. Bearings and seals are standardized. If you have one near you, you have an endless supply.
Hi Mike,
Re: This true for U.S, manufacture's,
Do you know of any US law/legislation that requires this?
I have heard this regarding car parts & 15 yrs, but have never found anything official that states such.
Just because I do not know about it does not mean that such a law does not exist.

The bearings may be loose in their housings. If so, use Loctite 660 and 7471 primer. The rear wheel seals are not a common size, only OEM will fit in my experience.
Been riding and wrenching for over 50 years on top of doing mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing environment and I have never bought a bearing or seal from a motorcycle shop. I get those items from our local industrial supply business and I get them for less than the dealership asks for them. Oh yeah, I get name brands usually better quality than OEM parts as well. As stated above BEARINGS AND SEALS ARE STANDARDIZED no matter what the BRP part number is.
BRP never made those parts. Bearings and seals for most anything are outsourced parts. I should also point out that most cities have business that specialize in bearings and related products. These in MNSHO, are the best place to get quality and cost savings. They can cross reference the bearing/seal numbers to get same size from a quality manufacturer and help to assure you don't end up with Asian knock offs.

Guys, the bearings for the wheels are very much still available from BRP. Whatever dealer gave this information is misinformed. Part numbers change all the time, you have to follow the superseded part numbers. Seems every time they change a spec or supplier.
Interesting tidbit on the bearings, the OEM ones that come in the bike are chinese. The replacement parts we have been getting are all made in USA or Japan. High quality name brand bearings in BRP packaging. Lastly, all Spyders 2008 to current use the same 2 bearing part numbers so for parts to not be available, they would be discontinuing new spyders.....
Sorry, they are different. BRP changed the design of the rear wheel. Take a look at the attached parts diagrams.

The OP has a 2015 with a fixed center hub. Rim design from 2015 to 2019. You are referencing a 2014 with a bolt in center hub. Rim design from 2008 to 2014. But the point is mute. The rear wheels all have the same bearings and seals and will cross fit all models and years except Ryker.
Let's say you are correct, then BRP is wrong. The accessories catalog shows an optional chrome rim and it says will fit 2013 to 2019, RS, ST, F3, RT.
