I am thinking on ordering this headset. Anyone have it and do you like it? How well does it work with the bikes radio and do I need anything extra to connect to the radio?

From my understanding it works great. However, depending on what type of helmet you have you may have to put an ear piece on your helmet. I have the 3/4 helmet and I have to add an earpiece on the side. It's a great price. Good luck.
This is the SMH-5 headsets. I had them as my first headsets and they worked really well. It's the basic setup with no bells and whistles.
They also make the SMH-5 FM and each headset has a FM radio tuner. You can program 10 presets as I recall.
The limitations of the SMH-5 is connecting with multiple headsets for group chat. You are limited to how many headsets you can pair with and how the group chat works (1 to 1 and you push the dial to switch to another person). If you do not need that this are good headsets.

I have 3 dual pack 20s top of the line Senas for sale [new in box] . See my add in sales by owner... part of spyderlovers forum. Pm me if interested. We always figured there was a problem when we did group rides, Sena said no it was us and the way we were trying to use them..i dont know but we decided to go a different direction after we got brand new replacements. If we can sell all of them I'll sell individual dual packs....work great with two or four riders, above that we seemed to have problems................................. safe riding!
Thanks to everyone for their input. I have some thinking to do. The Sena 20S-01D is $450 so it's a big bite.
Also, if you intend on connecting to the Spyder's radio, you'll need the Sena SM10 (also known as the Bluetooth Dongle) since the Spyder does not have Bluetooth build in.
ZIP, Not if you buy a dual pack that we're selling. They are new. safe riding!
If you are using them on the same bike they should be fine but range will be short bike to bike. We had the SMH-10's and they worked well but the 20s is quite an upgrade. Call Motorcycle Dave (a sponsor here) for questions and great prices.http://www.motorcycledave.com/sena-headsets/
I have a 10S in my modular helmet and my 3/4. They work great. I can listen to FM radio or the music in my smart phone. If the phone rings I answer and talk and if I want to make a call it's voice activated. I haven't synced to others yet, but it should work fine. If your buying don't forget to check with site sponsors.

I have one that's barely used I have box and instructions. I bought it and then sold my Spyder soon after. You can save a bunch of money. Message me for details.
+1 on the above. I have bought several things thru Dave, and the prices are always good and the after sale service is the best. Since you don't need another radio,I would buy one of the smh10's. You will also need the sm10 and wire set which Dave sells for less then BRP does for just the dongle. And has a video on how to install everything.
I placed an order today with Motorcycle Dave, and I bought the Sena 10s Bluetooth communication System, and the sm10 dual-stream Bluetooth stereo transmitter.
Dave was very helpful. I have a full face helmet, and I said I wanted this for the 10th Anniversary Homecoming event.
