Genius or Sygic
About to upgrade my 2014 RT-S to 2019 RTL (BRP Connect is Up-To_Date)
Looked at all the Navigation programs out there. Have been using Garmin since that company first formed. Yeah a lot of years.
After trying and experimenting not hooked up, FOR ME, I got it down to 2 choices.
Genius & Sygic and "leaning" towards Sygic until a "real" test can be done.
So, I would like to hear your thoughts on these TWO ONLY, please.
I know there are others, I've downloaded them looked at them, and they were not to MY LIKING.
So if those using Genius or Sygic or both could you chime in with what you like or do not like about these two apps, it would APPRECITED!
Thanks Everyone
AJ

Ive had our 2020 for a few months now and have used both. I think this will always boil down to a personal choice, but we found we liked Genius Maps better on BRP connect as it was easier to navigate and use.

Dynamic use will be the test for sure, thank you!

I was not sure so I loaded both , like all the functions and look of Sygic but the map is small the menu takes a lot of the screen on the right side. for that reason i use Genius
most of the time .If Sygic map were the same size as Genius it would be my choice .

Tried Genius on my 2018 RTL and HATED it... the screen seemed tiny, and spoken directions several times tried sending me on routes that were ridiculously wrong. Only used it on one 900 mile trip... glad I got a rebate card from the dealer that resulted in it not costing me anything. Have not used Sygic. Putting a Garmin on the bike this week.

I tested both and selected Sygic for my 2020 RTL. Used it for a month and then purchased a Garmin XT. I'm so glad to have the XT, which is the best motorcycle GPS display I've ever seen.
Good luck!

Thank you, nice to know. Statically, there appeared to be little difference in sizing.

I much prefer Sygic, last used Genuis a couple of years back when I first got my 2018 (so genius may be updated). I like fact that you can do a route online for Sygic, then place it on the Phone....albeit a little more work than it should be. To best of my knowledge, you have to do a single route Pt A to B on Genuis, then cause tweak it on the phone. Does not seem as easy.
Above said, I have a Garmin 660 mount as well, very easy to get a route from a GPX file.
