Back in the day, I knew a guy...
I'm sure I know this guy?!? :banghead: . Sure of it... just can't get the name out right now??? :gaah: . I'm pretty sure he's a Spyder Ryder, had a few other biiiig bikes too. Handy with a spanner....... makes all sorts of good stuff for Spyders.... :ohyea: . Dammit, just can't think of the right name! . Might hafta scroll thru the sponsors list, I reckon he's in there somewhere?? :dontknow:

Ah yes those were the days. Peter can you remember what he sells maybe that will help.
I've done a couple of those before, but not that way! I did'm vertically. I set'm in there with the tractor. My most painful experience with a splitter was splitting butt cuts.
Harry Reems?
Piston Dryver?
I wonder if “Stump Buster” was his porn star name, to go with that moustache :dontknow: :roflblack:
Pete
:lecturef_smilie:...Well, after giving it some serious....:2thumbs: ....thought, I really don't know.
But, it could be and this is just a guess mind you.......
the man living in TENNESSEE? ........:spyder:
A while back there was a discussion on dog breeds and when a specific breed was mentioned there was a member that took offense to what was said. I won’t mention the breed b/c this member either bred them or trained them or both, and did not like the breed getting a bad rap. It was during the discussion that Lamont showed what happen when he got between his dog and the dog’s food; part of his finger was missing.
Yikes.... I saw that picture in Greeneville the other day. :yikes:
Probably lost the finger in the wood splitter. Having a dog bite it off sounds less Darwinish.......
Greeneville TN, knows a lot about Spyders, well maybe more than a lot.
Yes, I think everyone knows this is Lamont. Probably circa 1984, if I had to guess. He might have a better date. He's always making something and this is one of his productions. One of the novel treatments is that we put the hydraulic oil in the 3" x 9" steel tubing which eliminated the tank and lent a lot of surface area for heat dissipation. The oil returned to the wedge end and intake was at the other end. I designed it and he made it work. That is one of the smaller logs that we split with it.
I used to be skinny too! But I don't have pictures to prove it....
