I just ordered a Michelin Premier A/S tire - what should I expect to pay to have this mounted?
I trust my dealer's work, but they tend to be REALLY proud of their work.

Netzley Tire in Accord, NY; charges $50.00
$15 at my local independent tire store. I must take the wheels off the bike myself and also remove the rotor and pulley from the rear wheel.
Are they just mounting the tire? If not plan on an hour labor charge
My dealer did an hour of shop time $85
Take them to wherever you buy your car tires. I did and they mounted and balanced for free. It took about 20 minutes.
$15.00 from Discount to mount; do the install yourself, after all you took it to discount to get it mounted!!
Oh, somehow that sounds dirty!!!
Yep, the stealers around here want $150-$200+ to install a rear tire and don't even bother with getting the drive belt tension and tracking right....I pull my own, get them swapped for $25 each at a local independent shop, haul them to a car tire shop to spin balance (front tires) and put em back on, making sure everything else is spot on in the process....My Spyder rides smoother today (in every way) than it did the day I rode it home from the stealer..Best way period....IMHO.....
UTube and Spyderlovers is your best friend!
I pulled my wheel off myself so the remount of the new tire cost me a whoppin' $10 at my tire guy's shop.
Are looking at paying for the whole job, including removing and reinstalling the tire on the bike, or just to have the tire swapped out on the rim? If the latter I paid the local tire shop $10 plus a couple more I think for the liquid tire balance he put in.
Front tires were $22 each including dismount, mount, and spin balance.
Has anyone tried balancing with beads........hisst
