You'd be better off spending a few more dollars and buying a Utopia backrest. They're far nicer and look stock.

I agree. I've had a Utopia on all my previous Gold Wings and 2010 RT. Love the adjustability and the look. My new one for my '14 RT-L should arrive in a few days. I also opted for the easy out option to allow easy removal when we're two up.
